Scope at the Stars is a 60 minute guided stargazing experience featuring telescope viewing, astronomy insights and Maori and Western star knowledge beneath the pristine skies of the Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve. Your ticket also includes a daytime hot pools pass at Tekapo Springs, valid on the day of your tour or the following day.
Tickets can be changed, canceled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the start of the tour.
If weather conditions result in less than 30 minutes of telescope viewing, a refund equal to 25% of the amount paid for each ticket will be granted at the end of your tour as recognition that you didn’t get a clear-sky telescope night.
